Welcome to Victoria Nimman Hotel
The Victoria Nimman Hotel stands out as a well-located, charming option in the vibrant Nimmanhaemin area of Chiang Mai. Rated 4 stars, this hotel offers an appealing blend of Victorian-inspired ambiance and modern comforts, making it a compelling choice for travelers seeking good value without sacrificing style or convenience.
Guests frequently highlight the hotel’s clean, spacious rooms furnished with air conditioning and thoughtful amenities such as free Wi-Fi and convenient airport shuttle services. The inclusion of some rooms with kitchen facilities serves well for extended stays or travelers who prefer self-catering. While the hotel does not feature a pool or fitness center, its strengths lie in accessibility, comfort, and a pleasant environment enhanced by an inviting jazz bar at the entrance.
The staff at Victoria Nimman shines in attentiveness and friendliness, often described as helpful and polite, contributing significantly to a welcoming atmosphere. Pin, a standout team member, exemplifies this hospitality by readily assisting guests with local insights and flexible accommodations. Security is another positive note, with a friendly guard and courteous door staff ensuring guest safety.
Location-wise, the hotel’s proximity to key cultural sites like the Phra That Doi Suthep temple and Bhubing Palace’s rose garden makes it ideal for tourists eager to explore northern Thailand’s heritage and natural beauty. Being just 700 meters from the old town and near essential services like hospitals further amplifies its convenience.
That said, guests have pointed out minor drawbacks that deserve mention. The breakfast buffet tends to be modest, with limited variety that may not satisfy all palates. Some have noted the intermittent noise from traffic during peak hours, though it reportedly subsides in the evening, preserving restful sleep. Technical issues with Wi-Fi stability and occasional air conditioning malfunctions have been reported but are typically resolved promptly by attentive maintenance staff.
Overall, Victoria Nimman Hotel impresses as a cost-effective, comfortable base that melds charming aesthetics with essential modern amenities and a location rich in cultural and recreational opportunities. It invites visitors to experience Chiang Mai’s cultural tapestry from a serene and supportive retreat, making it a memorable stay for both short-term tourists and longer visitors alike.

This hotel is quite good, especially for the price we paid. The rooms were modern and clean, which is a lot more than we expected for the low price we paid to stay here. The security guard was very friendly and all the rest of the staff were pleasant also. We would definitely stay here again.
Clean, great staff, perfectly located in Nimman area. I arrived a day early and Pin, staff member, was super helpful in finding me a new room. She knows the area well and can give you suggestions. You can hear the traffic constable’s whistle from some rooms during rush hours and intermittently through the day. But it stops in the evening so it won’t interrupt your sleep. Included breakfast has coffee, eggs, sausage, breads, Thai noodles, rice and other dry cereals and milk options. Great spot ⭐
Great location. 300 meters from the hospital where I had eye surgery. 700 meters from old town. Excellent staff, accommodations, and service.
Hi ! Is it possible to have an email address to exchange with you ? I have some questions for my trip
Great location, wonderful staff, clean rooms, very reasonable room rates, and one of the most mediocre breakfast buffets immaginable. Breakfast was so bad that we chose to eat elsewhere instead of eating the free food. Our A/C was also noisy and simply not cold. Two maintenance guys came up and found that the filter was so filthy that no air was getting through. Once cleaned, it worked fine. The TV broke one night. The maintenance guys said all of the TVs were out due to weather. I find that hard to believe in Chiang Mai, but whatever. We would gladly stay there again as the positives well out-weighed the negatives.
The Victorian vibes was cute, I liked the concept and the jazz bar at the entrance. The cleaner was a sweetheart! But the reception and the door boys weren’t very helpful - no one helped me with my luggage and was just stood around on their phones. Not the best first impression Breakfast buffet didn’t have many options and food tasted just alright.
Great location, very pretty indeed. Rooms were nicely made up. Unfortunately they didn't have much available from what was on their menus, drinks food or otherwise.
Great value hotel with clean & spacious rooms. The staff are helpful and polite. The only downside is the internet connection, it is very unstable (15 ping but can spike up to 380 suddenly for 10-15 seconds). The breakfast is okay.
